| The world has moved a step toward nuclear action late Sunday night when North Korea tested a nuclear weapon. The dictatorship nation forced their way into the elite group of nuclear countries. It appears the bomb was detonated 600 to 2200 ft. below ground while registered +4.0 on the Richter Scale. What is the reaction to North Korea flexing nuclear muscle? Severe sanctions will be implemented by the members of the U.N. Security Council. Bleeding heart liberals will decry such action because of already poor conditions in North Korea. Yet, as normal they will provide no real solution. North Korea’s dictatorship must fall. That will not occur over night but there will be an increase in planning and support to see such action come into fruition. There will not be a civil war in this instance. North Koreans and South Koreans have desired to be reunited for decades. Combine the fact of horrendous starvation in the suppressed country and you have a prime setting for regime change. If there was a promising action from the whole event it is China informing America 20 minutes before the test occurred. This action showed China desires to be welcomed into the modern age and prove itself to be a player on the diplomacy scene. Does China line up with America & Japan or in the long run turn to favor of North Korea? I feel China will play the part of ally with America & Japan; however, in the long run they need North Korea communism to remain. If North Korea failed and became a democratic state it would be a short period of time before the peninsula united. That would be a negative for communist China which neighbors the land. America must make a stand and stand with their stand. Did you get all that? The U.S.A. has become a country that talks with no action. When there is action it becomes an Iraq. I What I mean by that is the American government decides via political winds instead of taking care of business. We need to flood Iraq with soldiers and take control of the country. We need to establish our presence their and force Iran and Syria to work with the friendly Iraqi government. America needs to state what punishment North Korea has brought upon itself and then implement that punishment. Let us lead this globe. | | |
| Go Big Orange !!! The Vols go to Athens, GA. and upset the Bulldogs. The number 10 Dogs hade a 2 possession lead going into the half. On the way to the locker-room Fulmer said to a reporter the game was far from over and the Vols could mount a comeback. That’s exactly what happened starting with an interception caught by the Vols. From that point on the Vols had control of the game even when the Bulldog would run a kick return back. Tennessee had their heads in the game. I predict the Big Orange to be 8th on the AP poll and Auburn to fall to 7th although it may be visa versa. Arkansas had a big win over #2 Auburn. The Auburn Tigers game in the game looking past the Razorbacks and onto the BCS National Championship. They paid the price with a big loss not only at home but in the polls. I was highly disappointed with #9 LSU’s lose to #5 Florida. However, this could help the Vols move up in the polls. #3 USC skimmed a win from Washington who is not even ranked. For that reason I feel Florida will take the #2 spot. We are off to Bowl Chase and it appears to be a nail biter all the way to the championship. | | |
| Oprah has launched a new satellite radio station “Oprah and Friends.” She recalled her poor Mississippi childhood and her mother’s aspirations for Oprah cleaning white people’s homes because they gave away nice clothes. Oprah made the comparison now that she has obtained financial success she “has all these white people” working for her. She pointed out only one black person is on her staff. Many will recall Howard Dean’s statement, “You think the Republican National Committee could get this many people of color in a single room, only if they had the hotel staff in here." The Democrat candidate Jim Webb said recently, “I don’t think that there’s anyone who grew up around the South that hasn’t had the [n] word pass through their lips at one time or another in their life.” This statement was given little to zero coverage by the main stream media. However, every network along with the NYT’s and Washington Post has reported and produced numerous commentaries on Republican Sen. George Allen’s “macaca” statement. Some individuals have come forth and said they heard Allen use the “n” word. These individuals have kept silent through Allen’s race for Governor and 2 races for Senate to bring their recollections to light. They are tools of the Democrat machine. In the Virginia Senate debates Allen has showed he knows policy and is intoned with the people of Virginia. Dems know they loose when the debate is focused on ideology and policy. They must get in the mud and engage in character slander. The main stream media is one of their many tools. Oprah has not been questioned; Dean’s comment was a blurb in the papers and a 30 second story on the networks, Webb’s comment has not been covered in any real manner. Allen and conservatives are always painted as racists and oppressors of minorities. All too often minorities play into the liberal fallacy. The media needs to openly declare their bias or start reporting the whole story. Hopefully, voters will make their decisions based on facts and policy stances, if that occurs than conservatives will be very happy on election night. | | |
| A prominent Republican made a startling statement at the Huggins v. McIntyre & Tipton County Election Commission trial today. Sitting behind me was Tipton County Republican Election Commissioner Theta Rone. Standing on the other side of the court banister, directly in front of me, was Houston Gordon, fmr. TN Democratic Party Chairman & Democratic U.S. Senate candidate. Gordon noticed Rone and said hi. Rone responded by saying hi and, “we were hoping you would get that nomination.” That is the exact quote from Rone and the nomination she was referring to was to the TN Supreme Court. Gordon responded, “Well, I’ve been rejected by a million voters. What’s one Governor?” A funny and yet, true statement. However, what I was appalled at Ms. Rone’s comment. It is well known by local Republicans that Rone is a person who will not rock the boat if it will bring water onto the deck floor. She is an individual who will not go on the attack for Republican causes. Yes, she ran against Jimmy Naifeh but the campaign never went after Naifeh’s actions. Today, she endorsed a prominent democratic official for a seat on the highest state court in Tennessee! That is fine if she is just Theta Rone, a person who votes Republican. However, that is not her. She is a Republican official. Any action she does she does so as a Republican official and any endorsement she makes she makes as a Republican official. Numerous complaints have been submitted to State Senator Mark Norris concerning Rone’s position as an Election Commission official. He has stated that while he appoints both Republican officials his choice was current official Dax Hughes and he allowed State Representative Dolores Gresham to decide the other member and he appointed her pick. No matter how you slice the bread, at the end of the day Mark Norris appoints the Republican officials. The complaints leaved against Rone and her constant weakness toward the democratic power in Tipton County, along with this latest statement is enough for her to be removed. I trust Senator Norris will take the proper action. Some may argue Rone made the statement in a private conversation which others could overhear. If that is the case it’s even more disturbing. Rone either is publicly wishing Gordon would get the nomination or is privately wishing he would and doesn’t care to make that known in a public setting like she did today. If Rone is privately hoping Gordon would be Tennessee’s next Supreme Court Justice than she should be named a democratic mole in the Republican Party. Many local Republicans give her that label already. Her actions on numerous occasions have not been to the benefit of the Republican Party but to the Democratic Party. If she desires for them to have control of Tipton County local offices and of the TN. Supreme Court than she should join their organization and stop hampering Republican efforts. Hopefully, Senator Norris will ask for her resignation or replace her with a strong female who will stand up for the Republican cause in Tipton County. ~George | | |
| Jackson Magazine is honoring a victim of 911. Please take time today to remember all of the families affected. You may not be aware but some 10,000 children lost their parents 5 years ago today. May our prayers be with them. The bravery that firemen, policemen, port authority workers and ordinary men and women displayed on 911, along with the courage the United States military show the world on a daily basis, remind us that under God this world's greatest hope for peace and freedom is the nation we call home. May God bless America. Trust Christ George | | |
